For this reason, one of the most important professions of the future in the digitalizing world is e-commerce expertise.  Our department, which aims to train qualified personnel who have the knowledge and equipment to meet today's needs and who have mastered all stages of digital markets and technical operation process, is waiting for its new students.

1. What subjects are taught in this department?

 

In the first two years, our students take basic courses related to e-commerce and business in addition to the common courses taught at the university. In the second year, students start to take applied courses such as Web Design, Graphic Design and Database Management. In the third and fourth years, there are courses in the curriculum that will contribute to the specialization and competence of our students in different topics related to e-commerce. In addition to the compulsory courses after this year, our students can also choose elective courses according to their interests.

 

2. In which fields can graduates work and what are the job opportunities?

 

Our graduates specialize in e-business development, web and software programming, database management, e-commerce product development and brand management, digital advertising and promotion.

 

3. Is there an internship opportunity?

 

There is a 30-day compulsory summer internship in the department. 

 

4. What are the department application areas?

 

Our students take courses such as Web Design, Graphic Design, Video Design, Database Management, Visual Programming, Data Mining in the computer laboratories used by our faculty. Our laboratories, equipped with modern and ergonomic design, meet the educational and research needs of our students with updated computers and software.
