“Effective Communication Workshop” Held

The event titled “Effective Communication Workshop: Diction, Voice Use, and Body Language,” organized by the Department of Television Journalism and Programming at Istanbul Gelişim University within the scope of the THP472 Advanced Television Journalism and News Presenting course, was held in the university’s television studio. The workshop was conducted by experienced news anchor Cem Öğretir.

Within the scope of the workshop, participants were introduced to the fundamental principles of effective communication, diction and proper voice use, techniques of emphasis and intonation, and the role of body language in communication. Supported by practical exercises, the event provided participants with the opportunity to practice expressing themselves more clearly, effectively, and confidently.

The event concluded with applied activities aimed at improving participants’ communication skills, followed by a question-and-answer session.
