Live from the U.S.: A Journalism Talk with White House Correspondents

The event titled “Digital Journalism in the U.S.: Experiences from the Field,” held on April 7, 2026, at the Department of Television Journalism and Programming within the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Istanbul Gelişim University, brought together journalists working in the United States with students through a live online connection. Correspondents connecting from the White House shared valuable insights into journalistic practices in the U.S., news production processes, and their field experiences.

Anıl Sural (Ekotürk TV) and Rona Doğan (Haberler.com), U.S. representatives of their respective media outlets, participated in the event as speakers. The session included comprehensive discussions on the dynamics of White House correspondence, the functioning of press briefings, and the challenges faced in international journalism.
