Our students of the Department of Aviation Management will have a wide working network in line with the rapid development of the aviation sector and the ever-increasing need for qualified personnel in this field and the demand for trained experts in this field. Our graduates, who will have the opportunity to be employed in different departments in public and private organizations, will take place as middle and senior managers who have a say in national and international arenas. Our graduates who want to pursue an academic career are required to have a master's and doctorate degree. With a master's degree in Aviation Management, our graduates will have the academic knowledge that will enable them to think critically and creatively, act in the light of science and technology, and take leading roles in different disciplines of aviation.

What is the purpose of the Aviation Management Department?
The aim of the Aviation Management department is to provide services to all institutions and organizations serving in the fields of aviation activities (airline companies, airports, civil aviation authorities, air cargo and logistics companies, airport transportation companies, etc.) in flight operations, passenger services, ground services, safety and quality management, marketing. To train qualified human resources who can work at management levels and expert level in departments such as human resources.
How can I apply to the Aviation Management Department?
Application to the department is made according to the results of the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) conducted by ÖSYM.
How long is the training period for the Aviation Management Department?
The education period of the department is 4 years (8 semesters). There is no English preparation requirement.
What is the benefit of the Aviation Management Department being accredited?
The Department of Aviation Management has been found eligible to be accredited by AQAS, a member of the European Quality Assurance Association, since 2018. Founded in Germany in 2002 and a member of the European Quality Assurance Association, AQAS is an organization that has evaluated more than 5000 programs around the world. It has accredited the educational programs of which more than 90 German universities are members. The accreditation it provides certifies that the accredited program complies with European standards and principles.
What courses are offered in the department?
In the department, introduction to civil aviation, accounting, ground handling, airline marketing, aviation safety, aviation meteorology, etc. Lessons are given on subjects. You can also gain more in-depth knowledge based on your field of interest with elective courses.
How long is the internship duration? When can I do it? Can I get detailed information?

Is it compulsory to attend classes?
It is mandatory to attend at least 70% of theoretical courses and at least 80% of practical courses.
What are the graduation requirements?
In order to graduate from the Department of Aviation Management, you must complete a total course load of 129 credits and 240 ECTS and the compulsory summer internship, your GPA must be at least 2 (two) out of 4 (four) and you must not have any lower classes.
