Answer: The MIS department at the Faculty of Applied Sciences focuses more on practical and technical skills with applied courses, while the MIS department at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences focuses on topics such as business management and strategic planning. One of the most important differences between these two departments is that there is a compulsory internship in the MIS department at the Faculty of Applied Sciences. In our department, students are required to complete a compulsory internship lasting 30 working days in order to graduate.

 

 

2. Does the university provide the department internship?

 

Answer: The responsibility of finding an internship place for the students of the MIS department belongs to the students. However, our university and department lecturers provide counselling support to students in finding an internship place.

Answer: The courses in the MIS department have a wide range of courses covering both informatics and business management subjects. In the 4-year department curriculum, the distribution of informatics and business management courses is approximately 50%-50% equally weighted.
