Dear Students,

 

Welcome to a new life start and DEVELOPMENT journey. During the education period you will spend in university life, you will gain information in theoretical and applied fields related to the new media and communication field. You will use the theoretical knowledge you have acquired in the field of practice and you will graduate with the technical and scientific equipment that will enable you to advance in this field as a profession.

 

During your 4-year education and training life, you will discover the tricks of your profession, which you will enjoy throughout your life, with an enjoyable personal development journey at our university.

 

In this long and enjoyable educational journey, you will first examine the concepts of "traditional media" and "new media" in the field of new media. You will learn how the media has changed from past to present, and the past and present of the field of communication sciences in general.

 

You will continue your university education with an education structure that is based on an education process that researches, questions, thinks, can defend the results and put what they have learned into practice.

 

It is important to be able to research, question and produce innovations on the basis of 21st century learning skills. On the basis of the International AQAS Accreditation program throughout our university, it is aimed to continue the education and training process through an education curriculum that asks questions and can generate new information from what they ask. In this sense, one of the main courses of the new media and communication department is debate techniques and critique, presentation and presentation techniques, body language and effective communication courses. These courses aim to train you as a self-confident media and communication worker who can make confident speeches, plan the process, act result-oriented, and be in communication with the masses in front of the stage and in the media sector.

 

Our students' practical and theoretical knowledge in the field is strengthened with courses such as camera and sound shooting techniques, editing techniques, photography and light techniques, especially among our theoretical and practical courses.

 

The field of New Media and Communication offers our students a wide range of studies with courses in different fields within the curriculum. Apart from the basic journalism courses, students have the opportunity to specialize in many areas in the media sector within the new media and communication field offered to them, with social media and internet journalism, news writing techniques in the media, transmedia and marketing, social responsibility courses.
