Minor Programs
The quotas determined by the University Senate for undergraduate programs that will accept undergraduate students are announced on the university website at least thirty days before the beginning of the relevant semester.
Students can apply to the announced minor program at the beginning of the 3rd semester at the earliest and at the beginning of the 6th semester at the latest of the major undergraduate program.
In order for a student to apply for a minor program, he/she must have successfully completed all credit courses in the major undergraduate program until the semester he/she applied and must not have received a disciplinary penalty.
In order for a student to apply for a minor program, his/her GPA must be at least 65 out of 100 (2.50/4.00) in his/her major at the time of application.
Applications to the minor program are made to the head of the department where the minor program will be made, with the application form and transcript, on the date specified in the academic calendar.
During the application, the student can choose a maximum of three minor programs. Students are placed in a minor program in order of preference. More than one minor cannot be done at the same time. However, a double major can be done with a minor program at the same time.
The admission process is completed with the proposal of the applied department and the decision of the relevant board of directors.
