Double Major

It is a program that allows double major students to study two undergraduate or associate degree departments at the same time. The purpose of the double major program is to enable students who successfully carry out their major programs to receive a diploma in a second major at the same time.

 

Istanbul Gelisim University offered the double major program to its students free of charge. Students who have a grade point average of 2.72 out of 4.00 in the major program and who are in the 20% success zone in the undergraduate / associate degree program can start the second major diploma program free of charge. Students who successfully complete the double major program and are entitled to two undergraduate degrees are awarded two undergraduate diplomas.

 

Law, medicine, health programs, engineering and architecture double major programs cannot be applied for double major from other faculties or college undergraduate diploma programs, but students of this faculty and college can apply to double major programs of other faculties and colleges.

 

In order for a student to apply for a double major program, he/she must have successfully completed all the credit courses in the major undergraduate/associate degree program until the semester he/she applied and must not have received a disciplinary penalty.
