During Ramadan, hot soups were served to students, academics and university staff every day at iftar time in Block B and Block G Gastronomy Kitchens. The nutritious soups, which were meticulously prepared by the chefs of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts and served with great care, attracted great interest from the second education students and faculty members. Participants expressed their satisfaction with this meaningful event.
Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Assist. Prof. Nevruz Berna Tatlısu thanked the chefs and students who voluntarily contributed to this event and emphasized the importance of the spirit of solidarity during Ramadan. She also thanked Mr. Abdulkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, for his support in the realization of the event.
Stating that such events reinforce the unity and solidarity within the university community, Dr. Tatlısu stated that similar projects will be implemented in the future.
