Karaköy Güllüoğlu's business owner Mr. Nadir Güllü and his team hosted Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department students in their kitchen on October 30, 2024.
The visit began with Mr. Nadir Güllü telling the students about Güllüoğlu's deep-rooted brand story. Many important details from how the company was established to raw material supply processes were shared with the students. The students had the opportunity to visit Güllüoğlu's kitchen and witnessed every stage of the production process. The event focused on how baklava is prepared masterfully and especially the importance of the ingredients and techniques used. Mr. Güllü demonstrated the tricks that ensure the crispiness and flavor of baklava in practice.
At the end of the event, a product tasting was held. The students evaluated the baklavas and gained experience in both taste and technique. At the end of the event, Mr. Güllü and his team were thanked for hosting the students of Istanbul Gelişim University Gastronomy and Culinary Arts (TR-ING) Department in their production facilities and businesses. This event not only provided the students with practical skills, but also provided them with the opportunity to deeply explore the richness of traditional Turkish cuisine.
