On Thursday, 03/11/2022, the event held in J Blok Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall was attended by students from all departments, while students from the Pastry and Bakery Department offered various treats at the beginning of the event.
In the Gastro Talks 4 program; Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet Executive Chef Özgür ÜSTÜN, Raffles Hotel Istanbul Head Chef Okan AYDEMİR, Renaissance Polat Istanbul Hotel Executive Chef Arif MADAKBAŞ, W Hotel Istanbul Executive Chef Şafak ERTEN and JW Marriott Istanbul Marmara Sea Executive Chef Mehmet Faruk YARDIMCI took place as speakers.
In the interview moderated by İbrahim Levent Demirçakmak, one of our university lecturers, the participating chefs shared their professional experiences and enlightened the students about the world that awaits them. In addition, they gave advice and tips about the overseas opportunities provided by the sector, based on their personal lives. The conversation ended with a question and answer activity.
