Minor

It is a program that allows the minor student to take a limited number of courses determined by the higher education institution from another program at the same time while studying the major program. The purpose of the minor program is to ensure that a student enrolled in a program can obtain a document (minor certificate) that does not replace a diploma by taking a limited number of courses on a specific subject within the scope of another diploma program within the same higher education institution, provided that they meet the stipulated conditions.

Students with a grade point average of at least 2.50 at Istanbul Gelişim University who do not have a lower course can apply to the minor programs determined by the university senate for that year and can carry out the minor program process free of charge. Students can apply to the minor program at the beginning of the third semester at the earliest and at the beginning of the sixth semester at the latest. Students who have successfully completed all the credit courses in the undergraduate program they have taken until the semester they apply can apply to the minor program.

When the students who are included in the minor program successfully complete both the major program and the minor program, they are given a certificate for the field they have done in addition to their major diploma.
