This year, the "Time to Discover" themed Tourism Week is celebrated between April 15-22. Within the scope of the "Tourism Week", which is celebrated with various events throughout the country, many activities were planned by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality during the week. The events started with the opening meeting of the sector representatives at the Sheraton Istanbul City Center Hotel in Dolapdere on Saturday, April 15. On Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16, social media phenomena about tourism and places restored by IMM Heritage and brought to Istanbul will be visited.
The talk on 'Sustainability in Tourism' will take place on Sunday, April 16, between 14.00-16.00 at Taş Mektep in Sultanahmet.
The award ceremony of the "My Darling Istanbul" themed photography contest organized by the FOTON Photography Organizations Association with the support of the Tourism Branch Directorate on Monday, April 17, will be held at Taş Mektep in Sultanahmet.
On Tuesday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 19, the events will continue with a series of talks to be held at the Garibaldi Stage.
A folklore show will be held in front of the Turşucuzade Mansion in Sultanahmet on Wednesday, April 19 at 14:00.
On Wednesday, April 19, at 20.30, the Ezginin Günlüğü concert will take place at the Museum Gazhane.
On Thursday, April 20, at 12:00, a Janissary performance will be held in Sultanahmet Square.
On Thursday, April 20, iftar will be opened with representatives of different religions in Istanbul.
On Thursday, April 20, at 20.30, there will be a concert by the front group Asperger and the Russian Music Group Messer Chups at the Museum Gazhane under the ground.
On Friday, April 21, a feast will be celebrated with tourists in Sultanahmet Square and in front of the Basilica Cistern.
